  12. Sorry if this is a tired subject -- but:

  14. Can anyone recommend (or compare) the various commercial rendering
  15. packages for the Amiga for me.

  17. For at least the next 6 months I am stuck with my trusty A500 with 
  18. a GVP A530 Turbo -- so my hardware is limited to a 40MHz '030
  19. with 10 Meg of RAM.

  21. From my current reading the likely suspects appear to be
  22.     Imagine
  23.     Lightwave
  24.     Real3D
  25.     Cinema 4D
  26.  
  27. Reviews always seem to compare/contrast the various features and image
  28. quality, but never get around to mentioning rendering speed and
  29. memory utilization.

  31. Since I have a limited amount of memory, a full featured package that
  32. would require 32 Meg of RAM for a non-trivial scene is completely useless
  33. to me.
