- Sorry if this is a tired subject -- but:
-
- Can anyone recommend (or compare) the various commercial rendering
- packages for the Amiga for me.
-
- For at least the next 6 months I am stuck with my trusty A500 with
- a GVP A530 Turbo -- so my hardware is limited to a 40MHz '030
- with 10 Meg of RAM.
-
- From my current reading the likely suspects appear to be
- Imagine
- Lightwave
- Real3D
- Cinema 4D
-
- Reviews always seem to compare/contrast the various features and image
- quality, but never get around to mentioning rendering speed and
- memory utilization.
-
- Since I have a limited amount of memory, a full featured package that
- would require 32 Meg of RAM for a non-trivial scene is completely useless
- to me.
-
- Thanks in advance for any information.
